Hong Kong’s cultural scene will be alive and kicking this May.

If you’re planning Hong Kong holidays, you don’t want to miss ART HK, the Hong Kong International Art Fair, a premier international art event.

Organized by Asian Art Fairs Ltd, ART HK, May 17-20, 2012, is produced in collaboration with Art Basel. Art experts say that Hong Kong is now the world’s third most important art market.

“ART HK prides itself as the best place in the world to see the latest developments in art from across Asia in the context of the best of international art from Europe and America,” say fair organizers.

Luxury hotel Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is partnering with ART HK as the Official Hotel for ART HK.

The hotel will offer “artistic treats” including a special accommodation package; an art-inspired lunch in the Michelin-starred Mandarin Grill + Bar and special cocktails in the M bar.

In the hotel’s Clipper Lounge, there will be an ART exhibition showing during the art fair.  A collection of art by Tang Kwok Hin, in conjunction with Amelia Johnson Contemporary, will also be exhibited.
