Fancy a chocolate adventure in Europe? Chocolate expert Seventy% has launched Connoisseur Chocolate Tours of France and Italy in collaboration with Arena Travel.
Martin Christy, Seventy%’s founder and editor, will lead the chocolate tour which will include visits to some of Europe’s top chocolate makers and chocolatiers.
As a chocolate bean-to-bar expert, Christy will help the group learn about chocolate, giving a welcome talk that includes chocolate samples and tasting notes.
The five-day Chocolate Masters of the Lower Rhône tour will include visits to France’s oldest and established chocolate producers:
- The original Bonnat shop in Voiron;
- Chocolaterie A. Morin in Donzère;
- Pralus in Roanne;
- Artisan chocolate house Bernachon, Lyon and
- A chocolate dinner at a local restaurant.
The five-day Chocolatiers of Florence and Tuscany tour will include visits to chocolatiers from Florence and the Tuscan Chocolate Valley:
- Andrea Bianchini, aka ‘King of Chocolate’;
- Rivoire;
- Vestri;
- Luca Mannori in Prato;
- Roberto Catinari in Agliana;
- Slitti in Monsummano Terme;
- De Bondt, Visignano-Navacchio and
- A private chocolate tasting led by local expert Monica Meschini.
